ScRouNGe — The Time Capsule Series
Sometimes your old work becomes the clearest record of how far you’ve come.
Over the years, I accumulated hard drives full of Ableton sessions, unfinished records, alternate mixes, sound-design experiments, B-sides, abandoned ideas and exports I thought I would probably never hear again.
Instead of leaving that work buried, I decided to turn the archive into something meaningful.
I call it the ScRouNGe Time Capsule Series.
This isn't a greatest-hits collection. It's a creative timeline documenting different stages of my development as a producer, musician, sound designer and independent creator.
💾 Vol. 01 — The Good, The Bad, The Ugly | 2011–2013
The early laboratory years. Learning electronic production through experimentation, mistakes, curiosity and a lot of trial and error.
📼 Vol. 02 — Prequel to the Sequel | 2014–2018
The development years. More ambitious production, more sound design, more unfinished ideas—and the beginning of a larger creative identity.
🗑️ Vol. 03 — Flushed Down The Memory Hole | 2018–2019
The archive becomes part of the story itself. Forgotten sessions, B-sides and experiments are recovered from what I call “The Land Where Deleted Files Go.”
Looking back at this material reminded me of something important:
Not every project has to be perfect to have value.
Some projects teach technique.
Some reveal what doesn't work.
Some introduce an idea that won't make sense until years later.
And sometimes an unfinished project becomes the foundation for something much bigger.
Those years of experimentation eventually helped shape what I'm building today through ScRouNGe, Guerrilla the Market and SssidewinderssS—combining music production, visual storytelling, world-building, merchandise and independent artist development.
The Time Capsule Series is my way of preserving that evolution instead of rewriting it.
Three eras. Three capsules. One continuing story.
Music lives forever.
Ideas never die.
Create anyway.
