Emptying the Vault

Over the last 15+ years, I've made a lot of music.

Some songs became albums.

Some became ideas for future projects.

And a lot of them just sat on old hard drives, forgotten laptops, and unfinished Ableton sessions waiting for the right time.

I've finally decided to stop waiting.

Over the next several months, I'll be releasing my ScRouNGe Time Capsule Series—a collection of music documenting my journey as I learned electronic music production, business development, and found my own creative voice.

🎧 The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (2011–2013)

This is where it all started.

I had no idea what I was doing.

The mixes are rough.

The EQ is all over the place.

The frequencies fight each other.

But every song is honest.

I could remake every one of these tracks today with everything I've learned over the last decade... but then they wouldn't tell the real story.

🎧 Prequel to the Sequel (2014–2018)

This is the missing chapter before SssidewinderssS.

Forty unreleased tracks documenting years of late nights, different apartments, different jobs, different struggles, and a whole lot of learning inside Ableton.

It's basically my musical autobiography before everything started coming together.

🎧 Flushed Down the Memory Hole (2018–2019)

This album is exactly what it sounds like.

Songs I thought were lost forever.

Projects buried on hard drives.

Ideas that almost disappeared into what I jokingly call "The Land Where Deleted Files Go."

Turns out... some things are worth digging back up.

🎧 Scatter Brain (2010–2020)

The random ideas album.

B-sides.

Film scoring experiments.

Weird sound design.

Metal riffs.

Dubstep ideas.

Voice recordings.

Radio call-ins.

Random projects that never fit anywhere else.

Every creative person has a folder like this.

I just decided to release mine.

Looking back through all these old sessions reminded me of something.

We spend way too much time trying to hide our beginnings.

I don't want to do that anymore.

I'm an imperfect person.

I make imperfect music for imperfect people.

Some people might only hear rough mixes.

I hear the years that taught me how to become a better producer.

Without these songs, there wouldn't be Reality Creating Machine, Deliberately Dumbfounded, or the next SssidewinderssS album, The Belief Machine.

Sometimes it's okay to show people the rough draft.

Because the rough draft is part of the story.

Here's to creating.

Here's to learning.

Here's to never being afraid to start before you're "ready."
