From the recording The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

ScRouNGe – The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (2011–2013)
The Beginning of the Journey

Before polished productions.

Before years of experience.

Before Reality Creating Machine, Prequel to the Sequel, and SssidewinderssS...

There was simply a musician trying to figure it all out.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (2011–2013) is the earliest chapter of the ScRouNGe story—a collection of songs created during the years I began leaving behind the world of metal bands and guitar-driven music to explore electronic production inside Ableton Live.

This isn't a greatest hits collection.

It's a document of growth.

Every song captures an artist learning an entirely new craft—teaching himself synthesis, drum programming, arrangement, mixing, mastering, and sound design one mistake at a time.

The EQ is rough.

The frequencies collide.

The mixes aren't perfect.

Some tracks are beautifully chaotic.

And that's exactly why they matter.

I chose not to erase my beginnings.

These recordings weren't cleaned up to rewrite history—they were preserved because every producer starts somewhere.

Long before endless YouTube tutorials and years of experience, these songs were built through curiosity, experimentation, frustration, countless late nights, and an obsession with creating something new.

This was the soundtrack of uncertainty.

A time of changing careers.

Changing dreams.

Changing identities.

Leaving one creative world while stepping into another.

Today I could completely rebuild every song.

I could replace the sounds.

Fix the mixes.

Balance the frequencies.

Remaster everything using the knowledge I've gained over the last decade.

But doing that would erase the fingerprints of who I was.

This album is an honest snapshot of an artist refusing to wait for perfection before creating.

Because progress deserves to be documented—not hidden.

"These songs aren't perfect. They're not supposed to be. They're the sound of me learning, failing, experimenting, and refusing to quit. Every bad mix taught me something. Every mistake became part of the next album. I could remake every one of these songs today—and one day I probably will—but I never want to forget where I started."

Every polished record begins as a rough demo.

Every producer has ugly mixes.

Every artist has growing pains.

Every dream starts unfinished.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly is proof that the journey is just as important as the destination.
